Last Sunday, September 13, the penultimate round of the 2026 National MX Championship took place in Alqueidão.

Competing in the premier Elite class aboard his STARK ("259 Live to Ride"), Daniel Pinto finished fifth in both heats.

Notably, he secured the holeshot in the first moto—marking the first time an electric motorcycle has achieved this feat in the championship.

It is worth noting that, given the current stage of technology, Daniel's choice to race an electric bike somewhat constrains his race pace; the national championship motos—lasting 40 minutes each—require conservative battery management.

With one race remaining in the season, his performance can already be considered highly positive, especially given that this was the first year electric motorcycles were permitted to compete in the championship.

This year's edition of Baja Aragón—one of the most iconic and challenging races of its kind in Europe—took place from September 11 to 13!

As the sole representative of Team BIANCHI PRATA Competições, Ecuadorian rider Mariuxi Taranto successfully completed this grueling event aboard a Honda CRF 450.
